The Principle of Separation of Church And State: How to Violate It

The Catholic Church through its leaders vocally expressed its dissent to the Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill). Just recently, the influential religious group Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) submitted a manifestation of support to the same Bill. Both groups are major religious organizations in the Philippines, and now they are at the opposing ends.
The 1987 Constitution however explicitly states that the “separation of the church and state shall be inviolable”. Aren’t they violating this provision of the supreme law of the land?
