After voluntarily resigning from your work, an employee will generally be receiving from his or her employer the following:
1. pro-rated 13th month pay;
2. sick leave (SL) and vacation (VL) leave conversions;
3. last salary or wage; and
4. tax refunds, if any.
However, if the employee is forced to resign without his or her fault, he may receive a separation pay which is equivalent to a month's salary for every year of service.
